The Image Mechanics Dual Dock offers an easy way to connect and power bare hard drives. Slide the drive into one of the Dual Dock’s slots and it’s connected to your computer. Better yet, slide in a second drive to easily copy data between two bare hard drives. With no additional enclosure or barrier surrounding your drives, there’s no heat, and you’ve eliminated unnecessary costs and clutter!

2. SAFE AND SIMPLE STORAGE

The simplest, safest way to store your data is in F.O.A.M. That stands for File Offline Archive Management and is designed to fit into small and large file cabinet drawers and bankers’ filing boxes. It’s made from specially-designed, closed-cell, foam that protects your drives from static electricity and physical shock. To store your data in the F.O.A.M., simply open the file cabinet, pull out the hard drive, and drop it into the Dual Dock slot. For the cost of one or two external hard drive enclosures, one F.O.A.M. insert can safely store up to 24 bare hard drives (18 in the small unit). Using 1.5 terabyte hard drives, that’s 36 terabytes at 1/2 the storage cost, saving you over $2,400! Plus, you’re protected against theft: F.O.A.M. is designed to be stored in a locked filing cabinet.
